1988 in
West Covina, California. She currently resides in
Diamond Bar, California. In a tour video for her past group, Breathe
[1], she has stated that she is of
Cuban descent from her father's side and half
Mexican on her mother's side. She attended Diamond Ranch High School and was a graduate for the Class of 2006. She studied dancing from the age of nine at the Millennium Dance Complex. She is a
Taurus.
Before Girlicious she had been in two bands - Cherri, of which she was a member from 2001 until 2003 and then Breathe, which formed in 2005 and disbanded in 2007. Breathe was an opening act for Sean Paul.
Natalie was a contestant on the CW Reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious in which she became one of the four girls who got into the final group, Girlicious. Mejia was a non-singer, struggling with her vocals and she once acted like a diva to the music director Kenn Hicks She was known for being very competitive but was able to reconcile with her fellow contestants in time. She is often seen wearing message T-Shirts during her performances such as "Latinas do it better" or "Beauty is a talent", her infamous quote. The shirt saying "Latins do it better" was worn during the music video for Like Me.
